NOTE FOR 3.31.2006 - This profile needs updating. Badly. So basically disregard most of it until I figure out what I want to say. Or not. Chances are I still mean most of what I said, but I haven't updated it in ages. So, yeah. ^_^

NOTE FOR 3.28.2007 - Lather. Rinse. Repeat as noted above.

NOTE FOR INFINITY - I mean, this is here, but it's not really looked at/posted to anymore...I made a bunch of edits here due to outdated and poorly-written content.

In a Nutshell She's: Serious. Funny. Seriously funny.

Hi. I'm Jill ("Hi, Jill..."). You may find me being addressed as many different titles here on LJ, including such names as Princess Stickybuns. Do not be alarmed, as these are based on inside jokes and the like. I pretty much will go by anything though, so even "HEY YOU!" will do, if you insist on calling me that. I'm quite flexible (on many levels). I've been a part of the "Internet Realm" since about 1996, so I have a long and involved online history. :@ D

Anyway, as for the details: I live just outside of Seattle (Washington State, U.S.A., Northern Hemisphere, Planet Earth, Milky Way galaxy, etc.), bored with life, wanting to see the world, looking for love, and stuck in a social rut of sorts. I need to escape this dull life! :@ )

I'm just plain weird and eclectic, no?

I'm a smartass by nature, so though it may appear I'm a sick and twisted pervert or something, I just enjoy having a good time with people, and normally not afraid to "go there". Chances are I'm *not* trying to flirt, insult or pick up people intentionally, so if you're easily offended or sensitive, there are times you might want to watch out; just a little disclaimer of sorts. However, if you do enjoy being a Smartass as well, I invite you to check out Smartasses Online, a really fun online forum for like-minded individuals. (I'm a member there: just look for Jill_the_Pill.)

As for the "Underappreciated Giftedness" listed in my interests, this stems from reflecting back on a childhood where I had elements of being "gifted", although educators discounted my talents due to having Dyslexia. (Sort of an Einstein-esque "stupid genius" type of label, no?) Because of this, I feel I never got a fair chance at a quality education I might have thrived in, because of 'one-way' teaching methods that did not favour those who had any sort of struggles. Basically, I got tossed in with all the misfits and less-than-average students for no real reason (other than the fact no test could accurately and fairly measure my abilities). Go figure.

Oh and yes, I really am interested in genetics...have been ever since taking biology. I find it a fascinating subject with so much still waiting to be learned. (I just usually don't discuss it with very many people.) So sue me! >_<

Moi one day dreams of moving to New York City to live in Paradise. :@ ) I've been in love with it since long before I ever went there. And now I just love it more now that I have. Obsessive much? :@ D

*AND SHE PLAYS GAMES TOO!*

Gaia Online anime roleplaying community

Gaia Online isn't so much of a game as it is a forum for all things "Kawaii" and creative, although they are adding more gaming-like features all the time. You can customize your own avatar and fun stuff like that! I blame taer_silveroak for introducing me to it. ^_^

If you're looking for me on NeoPets (or want to find me there), my username is Seakquy.
